Wales — Lighthouses

Wales — Lighthouses & Coastal Lights

From cliff-edge beacons to small island towers, Wales is ringed with lights that guided
mariners through fog, tides and darkness. This map brings together every Welsh lighthouse we can verify—from South Stack and Trwyn Du on Anglesey to Nash Point and the offshore towers of the Smalls and Helwick.

Some still shine; others are conserved as heritage or stand as romantic ruins. Many sit in wildlife hotspots, with seabird cliffs, seal haul-outs and tidal islands that are only reachable at low water—always check local advice and conditions.
